My name is Michelle Cook-Kaufmann and I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer. As the founder of MCK Resume Service, I realize a well-crafted resume is a critical part of any job search. More often than not, it is the first impression a prospective employer has of an applicant. Therefore, having a resume professionally written by someone who stays current in the industry will produce a strong personal marketing tool that can significantly increase your chance of being contacted for an interview.

I have been writing for professionals and local businesses since 2001. Besides writing resumes, I’ve written many articles for newspapers, magazines, blogs, and online news feeds, crafted content for multiple websites, and assisted a local celebrity with writing and editing her first book published by St. Martin’s Press.

I have two passions: creative writing and helping others.

In 2011, I decided to focus solely on resume writing since it seemed to be the most helpful to others and allowed me to be creative with each individual client as I developed their career success stories.
